Are You Really Modest?

Salam, eveyone. Nice to see you tonight, it`s very cold in here, beginning of winter it`s chill my day...hahaha.

Today i just want make a little discuss but it`s very important for moslema`s style. Today i found a nice article from http://affiliate.purefashion.com. They talking about modesty generally, not only for hijabee. I`m so interesting to posting they version about modest guidelines in my own blog. 

Modest Guideline (Generally, not for hijabee only!)

Shirts

• The neckline should not be lower than four fingers below the collarbone.
• The material should not be sheer, very thin, or spandex.
• Shirts should not be tight across the bust.
• The shape of the bra should not be seen in the back (if visible, the shirt on top is too tight).
• The backs should be modest. For example, no strappy backs, halter, or backless garments.
• Tank tops should be modeled only with a shirt, jacket, or sweater over them.

Pants

• Should not be too tight, especially in the seat or thigh area.
• Should fit well, but not be skin-tight. One should be able to pull them away from the leg.
• Shorts should be modest. They should not be very short and/or tight. When the arms are straight down at the side, the bottom of the shorts should be below the longest finger. Remember, clothing worn by models on an elevated runway appears shorter to the audience.
• Make sure that "panty lines" are not visible on stage. If necessary, wear pantyhose or a "thigh shaper" to create a smooth appearance in the clothing.

Skirts

• Should not be very tight fitting.
• Should not be constructed of a material that is too thin. If necessary, wear a slip.
• Should not be shorter than four fingers above the top of the kneecap.

Dresses

• Should follow the shirt guidelines.
• No sleeveless, strapless, or spaghetti (or other thin strapped) dresses, even if worn with a wrap.
• Dresses should have sleeves or be worn with a shrug.

Final Notes

Undergarments should never become outer garments. Bra straps should not be exposed, etc.

Wow, that`s amazing isn`t? But, Believe or not, Sometimes Hijabee are Extrance from Modest Rule. 

I`m still wondering when they call their fashion is modest as hijabee, but they wear something out of rule from modesty. Ever seen hijabee with Unmodest fashion?

Give Me Uterus Once More

This is an inspirational story i took that from Indonesian Moslema`s Magazine, UMMI. It`s recommended to read, that Allah has a Power to make a will.

What happens when women are forced to lose her uterus? This bitter truth of my own experience. Obstetricians decided to lift my uterus because of myoma are nesting in it. I was immediately swayed, suddenly dazed mind. I could not imagine will lose my crown at the age of 29 years.

 Until one day, God made me realize through the tsunami disaster in Aceh in December 2004. I was shocked to see a ship weighing many tons can be slammed from the sea to the mainland in the middle of town, and many victims are lying because the enormity of tsunami. Allahu Akbar! Allahu 'ala kulli syai'in qodiir!

Since the incident, I think why I should be afraid of losing the womb that clearly God's creation?

If it is His provision, uterus must be removed then I have to do that sincerely. Finally, in early 2005, I underwent surgical removal of the uterus steady. Previously, I tried to finish all my work. Because no one knows of my Death after did this surgery, if I death when i was at the time of surgery, at least I've fulfilled my responsibility.

Unnoticed, a month after the operation over. I live day by day with full submission. Sincerely, when i realized i couldn`t have menstruating. I lost my hope to gives younger sister to my only child.

But no denying, without a uterus in the body makes me feel worthless in front of my husband. When the brothers or relatives asked me might i have another child?  my heart feel so down. But I believe with Allah`s will.

However, this heart secretly still keep hope. Each finished the prayer, always in my Dua, "O God nothing is impossible for You to complete my physical return. Amen." I prayed while imagined the tsunami in Aceh on the television show that shows how easy it is for God to create and destroy anything if he had willed.

Two months later, a miracle occurred. Subhanallah, I am menstruating! Immediately, I see a doctor. Seeing my condition, the doctor wondered. Therefore, the blood coming out of menstrual blood really. Though medically after uterus removed is no longer possible I could menstruate, let alone pregnant. I came home and thankful for the gift that God gave. I kept saying, "Wallahu'ala kulli syai'in Qadir."

 I spent the day with gratitude, until one day my period did not come anymore. I feel sad and wonder again, whether it's time I really did not rich like other women? I went back to the doctor  and asked what happen with me, Do you know, readers? Tears are came out when I heard the doctor's diagnosis, I tested positive for pregnancy! Subhanallah! From the results of uterine and ovarian ultrasound seen me whole again without any signs of ever having a disease.Allahu Akbar. Praise, O Lord, nothing is impossible for You. Love Thy always remarkable for this self.

Hijab in History

Our commitment to Allah SWT is to trust that He knows what is best for us and that what He has commanded is what is right.
So, what do the Quran and Sunna say about hijab? There are two ayat of the Quran that deal with hijab. These are Surah an-Nur ayah 31 and Surah al-Ahzab ayah 59. Let's look at what these ayat say, and how the Prophet (sAas) has explained them.
Surah an-Nur ayah 31 says:

And say to the faithful women to lower their gazes, and to guard their private parts, and not to display their beauty except what is apparent of it, and to extend their headcoverings (khimars) to cover their bosoms (jaybs), and not to display their beauty except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers, or their sons, or their husband's sons, or their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their womenfolk, or what their right hands rule (slaves), or the followers from the men who do not feel sexual desire, or the small children to whom the nakedness of women is not apparent, and not to strike their feet (on the ground) so as to make known what they hide of their adornments. And turn in repentance to Allah together, O you the faithful, in order that you are successful

Surah al-Ahzab ayah 59 says:

O Prophet! Say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the faithful to draw their outergarments (jilbabs) close around themselves; that is better that they will be recognized and not annoyed. And God is ever Forgiving, Gentle.

Together, these two ayat lay out seven commandments for Muslim sisters:

1. "to lower their gazes"
2. "to guard their private parts"
3. "not to display their beauty except what is apparent of it"
4. "to extend their headcoverings to cover their bosoms"
5. "not to display their beauty except to their husbands or their fathers..."
6. "not to strike their feet (on the ground) so as to make known what they hide"
7. "to draw their outergarments close around themselves"

As we can see the profit of Hijab, also in the past age, we can se so many ladies wearing Hijab. Maybe that was not called Hijab, just headscarves, Bonnet, Hat, or Chaperon it was depended on the age and periode.

Their Headdresses are profitable for keeping their honour as a manner lady. That was same with Hijab benefit. The manner lady also covering their face when she turn outside. Muslimah also keeping their honour with hijab also, isn`t right?

I will give you some picture of the hijab in any periode.

This both picture is describe the women when Biedermeier periode, It was Louis XVIII being a king in Paris.This is Romantic era, when a ladies turn use beautiful and elegant design, start from the head untill shoes.

 This headdresses called Hennin, was populer at Gothic era when 1200-1480 B.C. Hennin be eqquiped with face covering which is made from luxurios fabric.

And this picture describe about women in Renaissance era, Brand new design was started in Italy. The headdresses is bonnet typical combine with a hat.

And the last picture is describe about women style when Victorian Queen Era in England. I love whole style in victorian age. The furniture, costume, crafting, and many more i cant mention.

So, why does woman choose the minim cloth for their style, if the manner style is covered??? Now, i think we as moslema should be proud of our consistance wearing manner style. Be proud ladies of our style as a moslema!

Plus Minus Effect by Day Outfit

What is the meaning of Day Outfit? Day outfit is a way to combine your style every day, start from hijab, shoes, till the accessories like bangle, necklace, and brooch. Actually i never mind with person`s style when she wear glamour, cute, or classic style. But i`m worried about one thing. CONSUMPTIVE. Yes, this my worried about.

Look at the picture above, to be stylish moslema, you have to buy Girgio Armani`s Product. So, how much money you will spend? This is i called the consumptiveness. And consumptive it`s near to syaithon. The most important from daily outfit, i think make and mixing. Not buy and then mixing.

People who always posting daily outfit in her blog always using a different cloth, but that cloth is not designed by her. This is so different with fashion designer. Please forward thinking!!! Fashion designer is always make their style and then they improve it, so they creativity always improves. It`s different with you if just make your style but you`re not the designer. You just buy and buy, always buy and posting that you want like diamond bangle or anything.

If you really wanna be unconsumptive moslema, you have to design your cloth, sewing it yourself, and then mix it with another cloth that you have before. I think this is much better than you only shopping till you drop.

My favourite blog is GDA`S Gallery, she is called Ghaida. She is very talented person with her vintage mixing modern style, so im fallin love with her blog and also her style. She made her dress herself, and also the bag. So i call this is really creativity. Making and then mixing!! Not only buy but making. So you will be a creative person.

I`m so sorry with my critic, because sometimes i found the moslema cannot keep her soul from consumptiveness....

Being A Good Wife: Save Your Marriage

Are you happy when you decide your life turn to the new life, it`s called marriage. Yes, you will happy when you get someone special, beloved one in your life and wherever you go, you`ll always beside him. Marriage is on of sunnah rasulullah SAW.


When you getting marriage you not only getting a husband, but you get a friend, a place to share, companion best ever. But you have to do one only as a wifey. Obey your husband, and then you will enter to Jannah. But only obedience in the right path.

What is our achievement in islamic marriage? What is your aim after getting husband?
Really, our aim only for searching Allah blessing to entering jannah, not to show on that now you have husband, and still in your oldish habit like walking with your non mahram`s friend.

Sometimes, when you are married and you`re also working in public area, it`s when men and women inside together. How to keep your relation manner with opposite sex? Just talking with them if needed, enough. Don`t make a joyfull, joke, or even share your problem`s life to the men`s partner. It will make you feel enjoy to another man, and then after that you make an affair with your partner. Naudzubillahimin dzaliik. Please don`t follow the modern woman`s habit recently, always receive call from her partner, but the calling only for joke not for job, always getting home together. It`s forbidden in Islam. Islam keep you away from the unhappiness.

Keep contact communication with your spouse, just half hour everyday. Talking your activity last day, share your problem or just make a joke with your husband . Only half hour, but it`s meaningfull.

That`s only a little lesson about being a good wife, will continued!!!

Forgive me Allah

Allah, I`m always praise to you in the night and in the day.
When before i sleep in my room, i`m always sad, because im not granted to enter Jannah. How fortune Rasulullah and Sahabat can be granted by You.

But, now im realize. That my life only spend not for Islam, still enjoying my useless joyfull. Rasulullah made da`wah till the end of his life, and I? I just a girl. But, now im understand what should i do.

Then I opened my all book at my shelf. I found my self back, my soul back and i loves islam well when i was young. Now I want my life back. I feel like want spread Islam all over the world with this blog. And also with my passion in art and fashion. I`m sure i can change my life with islam.

Now my aim only for Allah, I feel so powerfull when i thankfull to you for my life, for my family, for my everything. I don`t care anymore with people around me talk about. I just feel safe and calm with you, Allah.

How fortune the roses in the garden, they can be a flower in Jannah...Then I???
